CXInsight-Project Data Management
CXInsight offers a full hierarchical project data management system that is developed to handle fast changing project data in electronics design (including software development), NPI and volume production in a distributed environment.
The ‘project room' method that we use in CXInsight creates a secure and central access point for all relevant project data that is made available for everyone invited to the assignment. Project data management of a new electronics product during the dynamic development and engineering phase is difficult and ensuring a supply chain (that is often global) has the same overview of the project can be very problematic. The complexity of new electronics initiates an avalanche of modifications, revisions and product versions as well as an increasing stream of documents and communication. The CXInsight solution ensures a project can meet the pre-defined objectives and can be delivered within the defined constraints.
Full Project Traceability
An important function in CXInsight is the generation of a comprehensive audit trail on the C4E server in order to supply full traceability of a project. Within the report function, the project manager can export logged information in different formats and printouts. The project manager can also specify a number of transactions that will become visible in the events overview of the GUI. The project transaction log files are an integral part of the project information and will be stored/archived with the project data sets.
