Smart Data Intake 

Data interpretation and validation of a new customer data set is complex, involving time consuming manual processes, before the EMS company can have certainty about the completeness and correctness of the data set and the readiness of the data set for quotation or production. The high frequency of changes or modifications during the data interpretation session makes it prone to errors and miscalculations.

The CXInsight Smart Data Intake module includes special functionality to read, interpret and check new data sets for errors and completeness. All customer related peculiarities (data set content, components, component types and amounts, alternatives (AVLinformation), CPN to IPN conversion, BOM syntax, etc) are stored per "design centre" in a self learning operation. Frequent synchronisation with the ERP system in the MatchERP process enhances and updates this information.

The Smart Data Intake process supports the "early involvement" approach by means of a streamlined preliminary BOM update process and a very fast feedback mechanism to the customer. The Smart Data Intake process is also extremely efficient to actively support the quotation process by releasing the expensive CAM process. And in case of an order the delivered data set can quickly be compared with the original data set on which the quotation was based. The resulting unified data set allows maximum data intake automation in the CAM process.
