CXInsight Product Visualization
When you use the in CXInsight embedded viewers or launch external viewers available on the computer system, CXInsight's single consistent user interface (GUI) makes it very comfortable to start a viewer for whatever files format and content. The viewing triggers are based on a list of customer definable file extensions, in which even multiple applications can appear in the pull down menu for one extension. You can then make your choice with which application you want to open the file. (Viewer, application or alternative)
CXInsight product visualization capabilities:
External viewing (via file extension definition):
- Any file visualization via external 3D viewers
- Any file visualization via external 2D drawings, documents, images viewers (HPGL, DXF, Word, PPT, PDF(searchable))
Internal viewing:
- Visualization via embedded viewers (ASCII, Images (bmp/jpg/png/tiff/giff etc etc), searchable PDF, spreadsheets (xls))
- ECAD /ECAM via embedded Graphical viewers (ODB++; CAMCAD)
- MetaBOM viewer functionality: Import, merge, compare, view, sort, query, join, find, info, set chosen check syntax, associated parts, join AVL, mechanical parts.
CXInsight visual collaboration capabilities:
- Markup all product information based on pdf's (2D models, drawings, documents, etc.)
- Rich set of markup tools available in Acrobat Editor
- Manage markups and annotations (Captured and deployed through CXInsight )
- Real-time e-collaboration (Peer-to-peer product collaboration and Online collaborative reviews (V5.2))
- 2D models, drawings, documents
- All users see the same data (Annotations, measurements, sections, etc. (Acrobat red lining functions))
